What are press-on nails?

Velique press-on nails are pre-designed nail sets that can be applied at home using adhesive tabs or nail glue. They offer a flexible, high-quality alternative to traditional salon nails, designed to be applied and worn with ease from the comfort of your home.

Are press-on nails suitable for me?

Yes! They're the perfect way to try different nail lengths or shapes. If you're trying on a longer length than you're used to, it may take a little time to get used to them but you do adapt pretty quickly after.

How long do Velique press-on nails last?

Wear time of our press-on nails varies depending on application method, nail preparation, and daily activity. Adhesive tabs are ideal for short-term wear, while nail glue can offer longer-lasting results. We've found longest wear can last up to 6 weeks! 
How do I know what size to pick?

Each set is offered in a designated size option. To find your best fit, we recommend referring to our Nail Sizing Guide before selecting your set.
What is included in each set?

Each Velique sets includes:

  • A full set of press-on nails in your chosen size
  • Adhesive tabs
  • Mini nail file
  • Cuticle stick
Can I reuse the nails?

Yes, with careful removal and handling, Velique press-on nails can be reused. Longevity may vary depending on application method and wear.

Applying & Removing

How do I apply the press-on nails?

Before you apply
Make sure your natural nails are clean, dry, and free from oils. Proper preparation helps ensure a smooth finish and longer lasting wear.

Applying your press-ons

  1. Gently push back your cuticles and lightly buff the surface of your nails
  2. Clean nails thoroughly ensuring they are dry before application
  3. Select the correct size for each finger
  4. Apply your choice of adhesive tab or nail glue
  5. Press and hold each nail firmly for 15–30 seconds
  6. Avoid contact with water for at least 1 hour after application.

Tip: Avoid water for at least 2 hours after application. We recommend applying them before bed so they can cure overnight.

How do I remove the press-on nails?

You can remove your press-ons by soaking your hands in a combination of hot water, soap and oil (e.g. kitchen oil or body oil) for 10-15 minutes.

Please don't force your press-ons off as you may damage both your nails and the press-ons.

Are Velique press-on nails suitable for everyday wear?

Absolutely. The designs we select are specially chosen to balance wearability and quality, making them suitable for everyday use as well as special occasions.

We take care to select designs that won't impact your day-to-day activities (e.g. designs that may have too many decorative elements can often get caught up in your hair, or other things which can cause them to break easily).

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

For Australian orders: delivery typically takes 10–20 days from when you place your order.

What if my order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe?

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet! We'll be exploring options so watch this space.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Can I return my order for a refund?

Yes. If you've changed your mind, we accept returns on unopened, unused sets within 14 days of delivery, in their original packaging.

Return shipping is at your own cost. To start a return, contact us at hello@velique.com.au.
Do you accept returns on all products?

As press-ons are a hygiene product, only unopened, unused sets qualify for change-of-mind returns within 14 days. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are covered separately (see below), regardless of whether the set was opened.
What if my set arrives damaged or is the wrong one?

Contact us at hello@velique.com.au as soon as it arrives - even if you've already opened or tried on the set. We'll review the issue and make it right at no cost to you.
Can I exchange my set for a different style or size?

The fastest way is to return your unopened set for a refund and place a new order separately. Since exchanges rely on the set being unopened, we recommend using our Nail Sizing Guide before ordering to get the right fit the first time.
How long does it take to get my refund?

Once we receive your return, we'll inspect it and let you know if it's approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take extra time to process and post it.
